We've been going to LRD since moving to Little River and have never had a bad meal. The staff is very friendly, service and price is excellent. We highly recommend LRD.
Everything was prepared perfectly and quickly, we did takeout but they have tables available to eat in.
This is a hidden gem. Therefore, after reading this review make sure you don't mention it to anyone else, otherwise the place will be crawling with people wanting their wonderful Ruben sandwiches and other delightful fares. Now, if they manage to dial in their fries to the same level as their sandwiches then the place would be 5 stars. Wonderful staff, great prices, good food, friendly service.
I'm from Philadelphia. Their steak sandwich (minus the peppers) is very very close to the Philly cheesesteak. We don't put peppers on ours in Philadelphia.

Coming from NY, this js the closest to back home any place has come. Wish they would get some real NY breakfast rolls, but other than that, great food, great service. Definitely NY feel

We had made another trip to the beach and my wife really had a craving to eat at Little River Deli.(me to).We decided to eat lunch on our way out of the beach on Monday.Naturally it's 12ish and it's a small place with a decent amount of people.Folks get orders to go and being a pretty day in February some folks sitting outside eating to.She got a chicken wrap and a cup of pasta salad.I have never had anything bad before so my choice was their Ruben with hot chips.Little River Deil even offered some a choice that day of meatloaf or crusted pork chops and a couple of veggies.The meatloaf looks great Boars head Meats you know your sub or sandwich or salad I'd going to be good.My wife enjoyed her chicken wrap and pasta salad.My Rubin was definitely the best I've ever had.We learned while eating that the a young lady working there had become the new owner.Don't pass this little spot up.Waiting on our next trip.
If you are driving along SC-9 near Little River and you blink, you will miss an amazing little NY style deli. It is definitely a hole in the wall type restaurant but these are always some of the best places to eat. I got the traditional reuben which was really good. The corned beef was very lean and the sauerkraut was perfect. I upgraded from the house made fries to the onion rings and felt they could have spent maybe a couple more minutes in the fryer as there were a couple where the batter was towards the soft side. The hubs got the roast beef melt and upgraded his side to french fries. If you love horseradish, you will love this sandwich. Thankfully the hubs does and he loved it. The french fries were perfect as far as crispiness goes which can be so hit or miss at restaurants even when you ask for them to be crispy. This is definitely a place we will be adding to the "gotta get there when we are there next" list whenever we are in Myrtle Beach.
